Here are the rules of engagement for worshiping inside:
- Our service will be in the activity center where social distancing is easier. Use the North activity center door only. Bring your electronic or printed copy of the bulletin, or go rogue and go without.
- Masks are encouraged for your safety and the safety of others. Please bring your own mask. Limited number may be provided.
- Please respect the choices of those who may wear gloves and want to keep their distance.
- Hugging and handshaking are still no-nos.
- Milt will not be making coffee for you and you shouldn't bring any in with you. Hey - these are short services, you'll live.
- Guess what? The restrooms in the Activity Center WILL be open (but only these restrooms). Please wipe the faucets and the counter before you leave. Like you do on an airplane.
- We will not have congregational singing, but we will have special music. So sit back and relax!
- As it was for Drive In Church, there won't be Sunday School, Nursery or Children's Church.
- Chairs are set up in groups of 2 with a few groups of 3 thrown in, primarily to throw you off, that are 6 ft apart. You can sit in these blue chairs and you can even add folding chairs if you have more family members. Just be smart. You need to keep 6 ft apart from the next group. So if you walk in and there are folding chairs between a set of blue chairs you probably need to go to the next set of blue chairs.
- We will leave the activity center starting with the back chairs. You'll pick up a self contained wafer and juice communion cup on your way out. Please do not stop and take communion. Move it on outside, thank you very much! Please take the communion cups home with you.
- If you don't feel comfortable worshiping inside yet, that is OK! Facebook Live will continue. Keep your jammies on, put your feet up and join us on Facebook. (see the link at top)
Offering plates will be near the activity center entrance.
You didn't think we'd forget offering, did you?
Church in the Activity Center will be a work-in-progress, just as Drive-In Church was. Your patience and grace as we work through challenges is coveted.
That's a church-y way of saying Be Nice! We're doing the best we can!
